1. I played in my first golf outing on Monday. It was kind of last minute but I filled in for people I work with who were going to play but weren't able to. My co-worker Lindsay played with me. This was her first time ever playing golf. I had a whopping 36 holes of golf under my belt. Luckily, my friend and roommate for the summer, Keith Biscuit was available to play with us. He knows what he is doing. It would have been a long(er) day had he not been there.
2. I improved my golf game. On the second to last hole, I hit the ball from the tee onto the green! This was one of the highlights of my game.
3. The other highlight was driving our golf carts through sprinklers that were on one of the holes. The temperature was in the low 90s, so driving through the sprinklers felt amazing.
4. My parents came down to visit us this weekend. We took them on the Bourbon Trail and toured the Woodford Reserve and Buffalo Trace distilleries. They were great tours and I would recommend it to anyone.
5. We also did a little driving tour of Frankfort and visited the capital building and governors mansion, two things I'd never seen before.
6. Saturday night my friends Jenna and Stephanie had a prom for the 30th birthdays. We all dressed up (up being a loose term, for many it meant an 80s goodwill dress, I didn't have time to find a tacky dress so I just wore an old dress I had with tennis shoes and some jewelry from high school) and danced our hearts out. I actually have a few pictures from this.

7. After the party was officially over music continued to play and the few of us who were left danced like crazy people to the world cup song Wavin' Flag. That was probably the highlight of the night. We look crazy.
Kyle above and his wife Katie below. I love the picture of Katie because it shows off her gorgeous dress so well :)
More ridiculous dancing
8. After prom we all went to a bar and hung out some more. It was a really fun night. Derek and I don't go out to bars very often, so I felt cool sitting around drinking beer after midnight.
9. Less thank 2 weeks until young life camp - holla!
10. We got to go to camp a couple of weekends ago. It was so much fun. Hanging out was awesome, and the teaching was life changing. I need to go back and look through all my notes and maybe do a post about what I learned from it. It was wonderful.
So 10 seems like a good place to stop the list so I'll end it here. Hope everyone has a lovely day!

What a cool idea for a birthday party! Looks like it was fun!
I feel like Katie looks like a modern-ish Cinderella in these pics.
